Short Curriculum Vitae

After some autodidactic teenage years in front of a computer and six subsequent years in the software engineering industry at akquinet and Ascora, I spent five semesters at Uni Oldenburg for a bachelor in informatics and four semesters at TU Berlin for a master in computer science. Here, I met Rolf Niedermeier who guided me for four years through the PhD on parameterized algorithmics at TU Berlin. After I defended my thesis, I stayed roughly a year as a postdoc at TU Berlin. Today, I work at TomTom as a Software Engineer and Applied Scientist.
